Turkish media representatives visit Aghdam Industrial Park

Representatives of Turkish media outlets visiting Azerbaijan toured the Aghdam Industrial Park, managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy.

According to the Economic Zones Development Agency, the delegation was briefed on the projects being implemented in the Industrial Park and the incentives available to investors.

The visitors were told that resident status has been granted to 30 business entities with a total planned investment of nearly 300 million Azerbaijani manats (AZN 300 million), while four companies have been granted non-resident status. To date, more than AZN 177 million has been invested in the Industrial Park, creating over 1,230 permanent jobs. Twelve enterprises are currently operating in the park, another 12 are under construction, and design work is underway for 10 more.

Officials said the Industrial Park manufactures construction materials, metal products, electrical distribution equipment, roofing and façade materials, wallpaper, specialized work footwear, concrete substations and other industrial products. During the first six months of 2026, enterprises operating in the park sold products worth AZN 976 million, including AZN 42 million in exports.

As part of the visit, the Turkish media representatives also observed production processes at enterprises operating in the Industrial Park.
