He is listed as a suspect.
12:51 (GMT+4) Another defendant in the case, Akif Safarov, born in 1963, has been brought to the courtroom, Trend reports.
Like the other detainees, he is suspected of involvement in events that took place in Yekaterinburg in the early 2000s.
The investigation is requesting that he be placed in pre-trial detention. The court hearing is being held behind closed doors.
Preliminary information indicates that Safarov is the director of the "Caspian" café in Yekaterinburg. He is married and has adult children.
