“Deepening comprehensive strategic partnership with China is an important direction of Azerbaijani foreign policy,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in an interview with Chinese Global Times.
In his interview, the minister highlighted the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan-China relations, as well as cooperation in the political, economic, trade, green energy, and transport-logistics areas.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also highlighted the peacebuilding process in the South Caucasus, the growing role of the Middle Corridor and the Zangezur Corridor in international freight transport in the future, the cooperation within international and regional platforms, including the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
