Jordan Daily highlights Azerbaijan’s hospitality traditions

Following his visit to Azerbaijan, Jordanian journalist Nidal Zubaidi shared his impressions with readers in a series of articles published in the Jordan Daily newspaper.

The author provided insight into the Azerbaijani people’s traditions of hospitality, the country’s urban planning experience, as well as the “Sea Breeze” project.

In his article titled “Small moments and big impressions from Azerbaijan,” the writer emphasized how small moments in Azerbaijan can leave a lasting impact on visitors. The article highlights the unforgettable experiences of tourists, noting that surprising moments await them everywhere. “These impressions stem not only from natural beauty but also from the warmth and hospitality of the Azerbaijani people,” Zubaidi noted, placing particular emphasis on the nation's welcoming traditions.

The article also highlights how the modernity and historical richness of Baku captivate tourists. “Historical monuments such as Fountain Square, the Old City (Icherisheher), and the Bibiheybat Mosque offer visitors unforgettable moments.” The richness of Azerbaijani cuisine is also a focal point, with the author emphasizing how dishes like plov, dolma, and kebab highlight the uniqueness and appeal of the country’s culinary heritage.

In another article headlined “Sea Breeze transforms Azerbaijan’s Caspian coast into year-round resort city,” Nidal Zubaidi wrote about how this major urban development on the Caspian coast is both attractive and favorable for international tourism. The project not only preserves ecological balance but also makes a significant contribution to the region’s economic growth. Modern hotels, leisure complexes, and other tourism facilities built within the framework of the project turn the Caspian coastline into a year-round destination for visitors.

The article emphasized that this project significantly enhances Azerbaijan’s tourism potential. Luxury hotels and resorts located along the Caspian coast provide tourists with modern facilities for relaxation in both summer and winter. Furthermore, the “Sea Breeze” project supports social and economic development. “The creation of new jobs and progress in the tourism sector within the project are contributing to an improvement in the living standards of the local population,” the article added.
