UAE Ambassador: Azerbaijan and UAE are discussing establishment of joint ventures

“Cooperation between the UAE and Azerbaijan is developing across all fields. Mutual economic cooperation serves the national interests of both states. To further strengthen these ties, several ministers will visit Azerbaijan this year to participate in various events,” Mohammed Al Blooshi, UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told AZERTAC.

According to the Ambassador, during these visits, issues of cooperation in the fields of investment, climate, and urban planning will be discussed.

Noting that the signing of memorandums may be planned, if necessary, Ambassador Mohammed Al Blooshi added: “In the near future, discussions will be held regarding investments in the establishment of joint ventures between the UAE and Azerbaijan. Both sides already have a clear vision of the projects they will be working on. Over the past two years, Azerbaijan and the UAE signed more than 20 agreements promoting cooperation in various sectors. The two countries are already discussing cooperation in the food sector."

“Companies from the UAE and Azerbaijan have the potential to work together to meet the export needs of both countries. There are certain directions to be discussed regarding logistics issues, including investments in mutual or joint enterprise projects. Discussions on this matter will take place soon. I expect significant cooperation between our companies in the near future. There are very strong relations between the UAE and Azerbaijan as brotherly and friendly countries. We will continue our efforts to further develop these relations, raise them to a higher level, and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation,” the Ambassador noted.
