As part of his visit to Vienna, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), Ambassador Ramil Hasan met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the OSCE and other international organizations Rovshan Sadigbayli.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on prospects for cooperation between TURKPA and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. They discussed the possibility of TURKPA obtaining observer status with the OSCE PA, as well as potential support that could be extended by member states in this regard.

The parties also discussed prospects for TURKPA’s participation in the forthcoming meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council.

The meeting underscored the importance of continuing cooperation on issues of mutual interest.

In turn, Rovshan Sadigbayli, on behalf of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the OSCE, expressed readiness to extend full support to TURKPA in its cooperation with OSCE and OSCE PA, and wished the organization success in this endeavor.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali, Commission Secretary Aynur Abutalibova, and Chief of Protocol Yadigar Mammadov.
