“The energy and defense industries are considered among the most promising areas of Azerbaijani-Serbian economic cooperation,” Serbian international security expert Vuk Vuksanović said in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
He believes that Azerbaijan's participation in energy supply diversification projects supported by the European Union could help reduce Serbia's and other Balkan countries' dependence on traditional energy supplies. He also did not rule out expanding cooperation in the defense industry, including the possible establishment of joint ventures, noting that such projects could give bilateral cooperation a long-term and pragmatic character.
The expert added that this cooperation opens new opportunities for technology exchange, investment attraction, and the implementation of joint programs, contributing to the sustainable development of both countries.
