TURKPA Secretary General meets with Permanent Representative of Türkiye to OSCE

On 18 February, Ambassador Ramil Hasan, Secretary General of TURKPA, met with Zeynep Kızıltan, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Türkiye to the OSCE, as part of his visit to Vienna, Austria.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the cooperation between TURKPA and OSCE since 2010, prospects for further enhancing bilateral engagement, and the support of the permanent missions of fraternal countries Regarding the obtaining of observer status of TURKPA in OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA).

Ambassador Hasan provided Ambassador Kızıltan with comprehensive information on current and forthcoming activities of TURKPA, as well as on the initiatives being implemented within the framework of Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship.

In turn, Zeynep Kızıltan underscored the special significance of TURKPA for the Turkic world and expressed her support for all activities carried out by the organization in cooperation with OSCE and OSCE PA, affirming that the necessary assistance would continue to be provided in this regard in the future.

Other bilateral and strategically important issues were also discussed during the cordial meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Counsellor Pelin Musabay, Third Secretary Can Bostancı from Türkiye, and by Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali, Commission Secretary Aynur Abutalıbova, and Head of the Protocol Service Yadigar Mammadov on behalf of TURKPA.
