The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, following its recent maneuvers in Lebanon and the prolonged defense mission that it concluded last May, and as part of strengthening the defense and readiness in the northern sector, its 146th “Thunderbolt” Reserve Division has been activated for the defense mission on the western Lebanon border, according to TPS-IL.
“The reserve forces of the division’s brigades are deployed across all sectors and constitute a central component in the defense of the State of Israel,” said the IDF.
