Ministry: Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle targeted secondary school in Nakhchivan

“It has been technically confirmed that four unmanned aerial vehicles were directed by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran to carry out attacks toward Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan region. One of them was neutralized by the Azerbaijani Army, while the others targeted civilian infrastructure, including a secondary school building during class hours,” Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

“The unmanned aerial vehicle that targeted the secondary school building fortunately did not reach its target and crashed and exploded near the school,” the ministry noted.
