PM Ali Asadov: Azerbaijan welcomes Kyrgyzstan’s intention to join partnership in green energy exports to Europe

"Azerbaijan has made major investments in the development of the Middle Corridor, creating modern transport and logistics infrastructure. Strengthening the Caspian Sea trade fleet, expanding the capacity of the international seaport, upgrading railway and highway infrastructure, and establishing logistics centers are among the key steps taken in this regard," said Ali Asadov, Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister, as he addressed the meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.

Emphasizing that the implementation of the Zangezur Corridor carries great importance, the Azerbaijani PM added: “Its significance is not limited to ensuring seamless connectivity between Azerbaijan's mainland and its Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic but also holds strategic value for uniting the Turkic world and opening new transport and communication opportunities for the wider region as a whole."

"Azerbaijan, along with Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, is leveraging renewable energy potential to foster interregional connectivity, which stands as one of the main areas of our cooperation. In this regard, we welcome Kyrgyzstan’s intention to engage in partnership in green energy exports to Europe,” Prime Minister Ali Asadov noted.
