Samad Bashirli, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy, met with Stefan Küpper, Spokesperson of the Management Board of Baden-Württemberg International Education (BiWE) and Managing Director for Policy, Education, and the Labor Market at Südwestmetall.

Deputy Minister Samad Bashirli highlighted the successful development of economic cooperation with Germany and the importance of the roadmap signed with the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and the German Eastern Business Association in this regard.

He also briefed the guest on Azerbaijan’s economic priorities, projects and programs aimed at developing human resources, as well as the activities of the Vocational Education Center operating under the Economic Zones Development Agency.

The sides discussed prospects for cooperation and opportunities for joint activities in training qualified personnel in the industrial sector.

The parties exchanged views on human capital in Azerbaijan, the development of vocational education to meet the demand for qualified personnel in various economic sectors, and other issues of mutual interest.
