As part of its visit to Azerbaijan, a delegation led by Róbert Dobrovodský, Public Defender of Rights of the Slovak Republic, familiarized itself with the Baku Pre-Trial Detention Facility under the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the Baku City Temporary Accommodation Center of the State Migration Service.
The delegation was given detailed information about the activities of the Baku Pre-Trial Detention Facility, including its medical and sanitary sections, library, and other departments.
They also visited the Baku City Temporary Accommodation Center of the State Migration Service.
The visit concluded with discussions on the provisions of the legislation of the two countries and international acts, as well as the importance of mutual exchange of experience.
