Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Chingiz Asgarov met with Acting Rector of the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council of Kazakhstan Kanat Musin, who is on a visit to the country.

Deputy Chief Justice Chingiz Asgarov emphasized that strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are developing successfully in all areas, including the judicial and legal system.

The sides stressed that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation signed on October 29, 2025, between the Azerbaijan’s Judicial-Legal Council and the Kazakhstan’s High Judicial Council holds particular significance for the improvement of justice, the expansion of cooperation between the judicial authorities of the two countries.

Asgarov briefed the guests on the judicial and legal reforms carried out in Azerbaijan, the innovations in this field, as well as the selection process and evaluation of judges.

Kanat Musin underlined that enhanced judicial cooperation with Azerbaijan would contribute to improving the judicial systems of both countries.

The parties stressed the importance of expanding judicial cooperation and promoting the exchange of experience and information.
