The First General Assembly of the Global South NGO Platform has today kicked off as part of the Baku Urban Week.
The event brings together representatives of NGOs from over 110 countries, spanning Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific.
The General Assembly will continue with various panel discussions.
Several Azerbaijani government officials are also participating in the opening ceremony.
