New Prime Minister Zeydi Takes Office in Iraq
Ali Zeydi, appointed to form the new government in Iraq, officially took office after the Iraqi Parliament approved his cabinet and government program in a confidence vote.

A confidence vote was held in the Iraqi Parliament for the cabinet and government program presented by Prime Minister Ali Zeydi, who was tasked with forming the new government in Iraq. In the session attended by 270 members of the Iraqi Parliament, the appointment of 14 ministers was approved. Following the vote, Prime Minister Zeydi and the cabinet members took their constitutional oaths and officially assumed their duties.
