Modi's visits are aimed at deepening India's strategic partnerships in various fields such as trade, technology, energy, innovation, and green growth, as well as strengthening New Delhi's expanding cooperation with Europe and the Gulf region.

Modi's visit to Norway marks not only his first visit to the country but also the first official visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Norway in over 40 years.
