China: We are ready to implement agreements reached with US leaders
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated that they are ready to implement significant agreements reached between Chinese and US leaders.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun, at a press conference held today, commented on US President Donald Trump's visit to China. Guo stated that the two sides have reached significant agreements on maintaining the stability of economic and trade relations, expanding result-oriented cooperation in various fields, and managing differences appropriately.

Emphasizing the indispensable strategic and guiding role of leader diplomacy in bilateral relations, Guo said that maintaining communication and contact between the leaders of the two countries will guide the stable, healthy, and sustainable development of China-US relations. Guo used the expression, “We will be in communication regarding the continuation of contacts. The essence of these relations is mutual benefit and common gain.”

'ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE' COOPERATION BETWEEN CHINA AND THE US

Answering a question about whether China will purchase oil from the US in the future, Guo noted that China is ready to make joint efforts with different parties to maintain global energy security and the stability of production and supply chains. Guo said, “The re-establishment of peace and stability in the Gulf and Middle East region is of urgent importance.”

Spokesperson Guo also made a statement at the press conference regarding artificial intelligence cooperation between China and the US. Guo expressed that China is ready to strengthen cooperation with relevant parties for the development of artificial intelligence in an open, inclusive, benefit-oriented manner that will benefit all humanity.
