Trump and Sanae exchanged views on areas covering economic and security issues, including matters related to China. Trump and Sanae, who agreed to maintain close communication regarding developments in the Indo-Pacific region, also discussed the issue of Iran. The two leaders confirmed the 'unshakeable' alliance between Japan and the US and agreed to continue working closely, including at the upcoming G7 Summit next month.
