Trump: Planned Military Strike on Iran Postponed
U.S. President Donald Trump said, “The military strike planned for tomorrow on Iran has been postponed.”

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media account that Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan requested the halt of the attack on Iran. Trump stated that the leaders of the regional countries shared the view that an agreement could be reached where 'Iran will not have nuclear weapons'. In this context, he noted that he instructed the cancellation of the attack planned for today. Trump informed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Daniel Caine, and the U.S. military that the attack would not be carried out, but he instructed them to be prepared for a large-scale operation against Iran if an acceptable agreement could not be reached.
