Pezeşkiyan: Israel Failed to Achieve Its Goals Thanks to the Resistance of the Iranian People
Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan, in a message commemorating the first anniversary of the 12-day war initiated by Israel last year, said, “Thanks to the unity and resistance of the Iranian people, Israel could not achieve its strategic goals.”
The Iranian media reported that President Mesud Pezeşkiyan shared a message regarding the anniversary of the 12-day war initiated by Israel last year. Praising the Iranian people's 'unity and resilience', Pezeşkiyan described the conflict as 'a symbol of national solidarity' and commemorated those who lost their lives during the war.
Pezeşkiyan stated that the Israeli government's attacks on high-level military figures and strategic facilities were a miscalculation aimed at weakening the Iranian people and destabilizing the country. Pezeşkiyan said, “The unity and resistance shown by the Iranian people, along with the preparedness of the armed forces under the late leader Ali Hamaney, prevented Israel from achieving its goals and forced it to accept a ceasefire.”
