Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated in a post on his social media account that he spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump on the phone. Zelenskiy noted that during the conversation, he congratulated Trump on his birthday, saying, “I wished President Trump success, especially in efforts to end the war that Russia has started against Ukraine.”
Zelenskiy also mentioned that he shared developments on the front lines and information that could contribute to peace with Trump, and reminded that he will meet with Trump at the G7 Summit to be hosted by France.
