Now, it is necessary to focus on the full implementation of the memorandum of understanding to ensure the Strait of Hormuz is reopened and remains permanently open, and to finalize the detailed elements of the nuclear agreement.”

'READY TO SERVE IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ'

Starmer noted that they are ready to provide all kinds of support for technical discussions, stating that their priority is to ensure a lasting and reliable peace. Reminding that they have been leading efforts to form an international task force with France for the security of passages, Starmer said, “We are ready if there is a request to serve in the Strait of Hormuz. It is important for Iran to fully implement its commitments regarding its nuclear program. The UK's long-standing firm stance is that Iran should never possess a nuclear weapon.”
