It has been reported that all 8 people on board the US Air Force's 'B-52 Stratofortress' plane, which crashed shortly after taking off from an airport in California, may have died.

In a statement from the Edwards Air Force Base's social media account, it was noted that all 8 people on the plane, which was previously reported to have crashed shortly after taking off from Edwards Air Base at 11:20 local time, are believed to have died as the crash was deemed 'not survivable'.

The statement indicated that emergency response teams are at the scene and authorities are working to determine the status of all personnel.
