Iranian Parliament and Negotiation Committee Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said, “We defeated the US and the Zionist regime.”

Iranian media published an interview with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and Negotiation Committee, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, following the public disclosure by a senior US official of the 14-point agreement reached between the US and Iran.

In the interview, Ghalibaf stated that they did not allow the US and Israel to achieve the 9 objectives set at the beginning of the war, saying, “The world's number one power politically, economically, and militarily, along with Israel, stood against us. This war's conflict scene had global impacts and was an international issue. We defeated the US and the Zionist regime. During the negotiations, we responded to the enemy's actions in the Persian Gulf. Two enemy frigates trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz were hit and burned. Meanwhile, all airports from which enemy aircraft took off were hit in their respective countries. These events occurred while negotiations were ongoing. When Israel hit Dahiye, we threatened and gave an ultimatum to the US, demanding the acceptance of our requests. Subsequently, the US President had to share that Netanyahu had no right to attack Dahiye,” he said.

Ghalibaf noted that he is a warrior, stating, “I conduct diplomacy with a warrior spirit. We achieved what we wanted through military action and even more through negotiation. We won the war, and the gains will be shaped in the negotiations,” he said.
