Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said, “Iran is sincere in supporting peace in the Middle East.”
The Pakistani press shared statements from Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who was in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, where discussions regarding the agreement signed between the US and Iran took place. Sharif stated that Iran's leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Iranian Parliament and Negotiation Committee Chairman Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi managed the crisis process with the aim of 'reducing tension.'
Sharif noted that the Tehran administration acted 'extremely honestly' and handled the crisis 'with a dignified attitude,' saying, "I think the Iranian administration is truly sincere in supporting peace in the region. Similarly, I believe that US President Donald Trump is also sincere. I have no doubt that he is a man of peace."
