Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan shared his assessment on social media regarding the talks held with the US. Emphasizing that statements made outside the agreed text by the parties would negatively affect the negotiations, Pezeşkiyan stated, "The talks held with the US will be effective if the parties adhere to their obligations in the memorandum of understanding they signed and if the articles are fully implemented. Progress in the negotiation process will be measured by the actual fulfillment of responsibilities."
