Iranian Delegation in Oman: Kalibaf and Araghchi Meet with Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq

Iranian Parliament and Negotiation Delegation Chairman Mohammad Bagher Kalibaf, along with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, was received by Oman's Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq at Al Baraka Palace. According to a statement from the Omani Foreign Ministry, at the beginning of the meeting, Kalibaf conveyed the greetings of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and expressed their appreciation for Oman's constructive role in supporting dialogue and peace in the region.

During the meeting, where the latest stage of negotiations between Iran and the US was discussed, it was noted that Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq received detailed information about the process from the Iranian delegation. The Sultan expressed his hopes for the successful conclusion of the negotiations, ensuring navigation security in the Strait of Hormuz and resolving all outstanding issues, particularly the nuclear matter, in a peaceful and lasting manner. It was also stated that Sultan Bin Tariq conveyed his greetings to Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei and President Pezeshkian, wishing security, stability, and prosperity to the Iranian people.
