Trump: Iran Agrees to Highest Level Nuclear Inspections, Strait of Hormuz to Remain Open
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran has agreed to the highest level nuclear inspections, which will continue in the future, and said, “Based on this situation and other significant concessions made by Iran, I have allowed the Strait of Hormuz to remain open.”

U.S. President Donald Trump made statements on his social media account regarding the negotiations with Iran and the agreement reached. Targeting the U.S. media, Trump argued that the press is doing everything it can to make America's victory appear as small and insignificant as possible with the fake news it produces.

Emphasizing that Iran has accepted the highest level nuclear inspections completely and without exception to ensure 'nuclear honesty', Trump said, “If they hadn't accepted this, there would be no further negotiations! Based on this situation and other significant concessions made by Iran, I have allowed the Strait of Hormuz to remain open without further naval blockade. However, all our ships remain in place in case it becomes necessary to reapply the blockade, which at this point seems unlikely.”

Trump stated that the funds released by the U.S. Treasury Department will be deposited into an escrow account under U.S. control and will only be used for the purchase of food and medical supplies from the U.S. Among the products to be purchased are corn, wheat, and soybeans to be supplied from American farmers, Trump said, noting that Iran urgently needs these materials, and added, “This is a humanitarian crisis and I feel it is necessary to help now before it is too late. The talks are going well!”

'OIL PRICES ARE FALLING AND THE WORLD IS A MUCH SAFER PLACE'

Addressing the developments following the lifting of the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump highlighted oil shipments in another post. Announcing that a record-breaking 19 million barrels of oil were shipped through the strait yesterday, Trump said, “Oil prices are falling and the world is a much safer place!”
