Pezeşkiyan: Iranian missiles were not and will not be included in the memorandum of understanding

Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan stated that they will not negotiate with anyone regarding their defense capacities, saying, "Iranian missiles were not and will not be included in the memorandum of understanding."

Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan spoke at a joint press conference with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad. Pezeşkiyan stated that issues related to his country's missile program were not included in the memorandum of understanding and would never be a subject of discussion, saying, "We will not negotiate with anyone regarding our defense capacity. If we did not have defense weapons, the enemy would have destroyed the country just like Gaza."

Pezeşkiyan noted that Iran-Pakistan relations should be elevated to a higher level, stating, "The two countries can build an exemplary model of brotherhood in the region through joint cooperation."
