International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi announced that nuclear facilities in Iran will be inspected by agency inspectors.
At a press conference held at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in Japan, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi spoke about whether the nuclear facilities in Iran would be inspected. Grossi, who described the different statements from both sides as a 'war of words', stated that the nuclear facilities in Iran would be inspected by agency inspectors. Grossi said, “I can understand the political statements, they are part of reality, but the fundamental point I want to remind you and draw your attention to is the existence of a memorandum of understanding signed by the parties.”
