South Korean media published a statement from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs regarding the status of South Korean-linked ships in the Strait of Hormuz. The statement noted that after 13 of the 26 ships stranded in the Strait of Hormuz, which was closed following the US-Israel attacks in February, departed yesterday, 8 more safely left the strait today. It was reported that with the latest departures, the number of South Korean-linked ships waiting in the strait has decreased to 5.
