U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media account that Iran launched at least 4 kamikaze drones targeting ships navigating the Strait of Hormuz. Trump stated that one of the attacked ships was a large cargo vessel, saying, “One of the drones hit the upper deck of the ship. Damage occurred, but the ship was able to continue its journey. We shot down the other 3 drones.”
Trump emphasized that Iran's action was contrary to the current agreement, stating, “Frankly, this is a foolish violation of our ceasefire agreement.”
