The first meeting of the heads of state bodies responsible for religious affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Azerbaijan's city of Shusha on June 30.
The next meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held in Baku in September this year, OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev told journalists in Shusha.
"These two events are of great importance. The meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States is held annually. Working groups on various issues operate under the Council, including a working group on combating terrorism and extremism," Kubanychbek Omuraliev said.
