NASA Prepares to Establish a Base on the Moon
It has been reported that NASA signed a new contract worth approximately $600 million for its lunar base plans.

NASA announced that it has awarded approximately $600 million in new contracts to the private sector for unmanned landing vehicles that will transport scientific equipment to the lunar surface by the end of 2028. Planning to spend a total of $20 billion on the lunar base project over the next seven years, NASA also announced a funding package of about $1 billion for the program's first unmanned missions last month.

It was noted that the three companies winning NASA's new lunar lander contracts are not designing their landing vehicles from scratch but are working on improved versions of vehicles that have previously conducted space flights.
