European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen stressed importance of peace through building bridges between countries and people.
This is stated in a post on her Instagram page.
"Peace… through building bridges between countries and people. Physically and metaphorically! I announced a €200 million Peace through Connectivity Programme for the South Caucasus. For a peaceful, connected and prosperous region," the post says.
