Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Bekayi, in a statement on his social media account, referred to the meeting held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, with the participation of high-level military officials from 12 countries, noting that the meetings conducted by the US in the region are 'nothing more than symbolic gestures.' Bekayi stated that these meetings aim to cover up Washington's destabilizing policies in West Asia and its actions contrary to international law.
Spokesperson Bekayi also conveyed that regional countries should learn necessary lessons from the recent attacks by the US and Israel targeting regional peace and security and their 'malicious actions,' and should be cautious against similar developments.
