Vusal Nasirli, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA), met with a delegation of the World Bank (WB), led by Rolande Pryce, Regional Director for the South Caucasus.
The meeting reviewed the results of the institutional assessment conducted by WB covering the management of road sector in Azerbaijan. The meeting also focused on the existing approaches to management, maintenance, and financing of road infrastructure.
Roland Pryce expressed the World Bank’s readiness to support Azerbaijan within the bank’s multiphase pragmatic approach covering the institutional reforms and road infrastructure projects.
