Forest fire in Greece spreads to factories
A forest fire near the city of Thessaloniki in Greece has reportedly spread to two factories.

The Greek Fire Brigade announced that the flames from the forest fire that broke out last night in the Oraiokastro area near the city of Thessaloniki have spread to a recycling facility and a textile factory. Authorities noted that the thick smoke rising from the recycling facility has covered a large part of Thessaloniki.

Authorities warned local residents to keep their windows closed and to avoid going outside unless necessary, especially urging the elderly, children, and those with respiratory issues to be cautious.
