The Mayor of Ukraine's capital Kyiv, Vitaliy Kliçko, announced on his social media account that the capital has been under air attack since 02:45 local time. Kliçko reported that buildings in the Podil and Darnitskiy districts of Kyiv were damaged and stated that search and rescue operations have been initiated at the sites. Kliçko said, “15 people were rescued from a damaged building in the Podil district, and according to initial reports, 7 people were injured in Kyiv.”
