The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) announced that the number of confirmed cases in the 17th Ebola outbreak, declared on May 15 in the east of the country, has risen to 1561, with the death toll reaching 506. It was stated that 253 people have recovered from the outbreak, while 628 patients are still in isolation or undergoing treatment in hospitals.
