Death toll in Venezuela earthquakes rises to 3,535
In Venezuela, the death toll from two major earthquakes on June 24 has risen to 3,535.

Venezuela's National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez provided an update on the situation in the country following two major earthquakes. Rodriguez stated that 3,535 people have died and 16,740 have been injured in the earthquakes. He added, “The number of temporary shelters established for citizens who lost their homes has increased to 82, and 9,603 tons of food have been delivered to those in need.”

Rodriguez noted that the number of damaged buildings is 856, while the number of completely collapsed buildings is 190.
