Iran: US attacks nullify the fundamental provisions of the memorandum of understanding
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that US attacks on Iran violate the first article of the memorandum of understanding regarding the cessation of war and nullify its fundamental provisions.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement regarding the US attacks on Iran. The statement said, "The repetition of US attacks on Iran and the US Treasury Department's decision to cancel the lifting of sanctions on Iran's oil sales, the violation of the regulations put forward by Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and the continuation of the Zionist regime's attacks on Lebanon have nullified the fundamental provisions of the memorandum of understanding."

The statement noted that the US would be responsible for the consequences of escalating tensions, and Iran would not refrain from defending its territorial integrity and independence, continuing to target the origins of the attacks. The statement also reminded the countries in the south of the Persian Gulf of their international obligations not to allow their territories to be used for US attacks on Iran.
