US Shares Details of Airstrikes on Iran
The US Central Command provided details on the targets hit in the airstrikes on Iran conducted on July 7 and 8.

According to a statement from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), approximately 90 military targets belonging to Iran were hit in the attacks carried out by the US on July 8. The targets included air defense systems, coastal surveillance elements, missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) storage facilities, naval elements, and military logistics infrastructure along the Iranian coastline. The operations were stated to be a continuation of the attacks conducted the previous night.

CENTCOM claimed that in the first wave of attacks on July 7, approximately 80 Iranian military targets were hit, including more than 60 speedboats belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. The statement noted that the operations were conducted after Iran violated the ceasefire by attacking three commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, aiming to 'impose a heavy cost' on Tehran. CENTCOM reported that US forces in the region are 'alert, at a high state of readiness, and prepared to conduct operations as directed by the US President.'
