The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks carried out by the US military on certain points in the southern coastal provinces of the country and on two bridges along the Mashhad railway route. In a written statement, it was stated that the US military's attacks were 'a clear war crime' and that the determination of the Iranian people to protect the country's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and national security continues. It was noted that the attacks carried out by the US in the last 48 hours, citing alleged incidents involving some ships in the Strait of Hormuz, also constitute a violation of Article 2, paragraph 4 of the United Nations (UN) Charter and the memorandum of understanding regarding the cessation of war.
