Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), met with Carlo Corsi, CEO of Technip Energies Italy S.p.A.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the successful partnership established between the two companies over the years and emphasized the importance of identifying new areas of cooperation to further expand their mutually beneficial relations.
The parties reviewed potential cooperation in the application of highly flexible feedstock solutions in the petrochemical sector, as well as opportunities to enhance productivity and improve energy efficiency.
They also exchanged views on the potential participation of Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. in SOCAR’s international projects, as well as opportunities for partnership in green energy and decarbonization initiatives.
On the sidelines of the meeting, SOCAR and Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document envisages identifying potential areas of cooperation within the framework of the Petkim Master Plan project.
