Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenskiy announced that they will soon receive 'PAC-3' type missiles from the US for Patriot air defense systems.
The Ukrainian press reported that President Volodimir Zelenskiy answered journalists' questions via his social media account. Zelenskiy stated that he discussed with US President Donald Trump and European leaders about obtaining 'PAC-3' type missiles used in Patriot air defense systems as soon as possible, saying, "We will receive a batch from the US in the coming days. I also have separate agreements with Europeans. There are no exact terms yet, but there will be additional 'PAC-3' shipments."
Zelenskiy noted that Ukraine has requested a license from the US to produce missiles used in Patriot air defense systems and discussed this with Trump in Ankara. Zelenskiy said that Trump approached the licensing issue positively, stating, "The US recognized Ukraine as a ready country in this regard."
