On July 9, Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Affairs of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, met with Nathalie Goulet, a member of the French Senate.
The meeting addressed the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan-France relations, interparliamentary cooperation, as well as regional and international matters of mutual concern.
The officials stressed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in advancing interstate dialogue, strengthening mutual trust, and enhancing cooperation. They also discussed regional security, peace, humanitarian relations, and other topical issues.
