It has been reported that 10 people died as a result of a small plane crash in the Bahamas.
A 'Cessna 402' type plane, which took off from Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, the capital of the Caribbean country Bahamas, to go to San Andros Airport, reportedly crashed into a forest on Andros Island. Bahamian police announced that 10 people, including 9 passengers and 1 pilot, lost their lives.
The Bahamian Ministry of Transport announced that the 'air operator certificate' of the relevant airline company has been suspended as a precaution. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
