Death toll in Venezuela earthquakes rises to 4,333
It was reported that the death toll from the earthquakes in Venezuela on June 24 has risen to 4,333.

Venezuela's National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez made statements regarding the earthquakes at a press conference held in the capital, Caracas. Rodriguez stated that the death toll from the earthquakes increased by 215, reaching 4,333, and reported that the number of injured was 16,740. He noted that it is planned to build 25,000 new homes for more than 17,900 people who lost their homes, and expressed the need for 'illegally blocked' financial resources for this purpose.

Rodriguez said that debris removal and funeral search operations are ongoing, adding, “We cannot act based on speculation; we must act based on facts. As of yesterday, there are 315 unidentified individuals. These individuals could neither be identified by their relatives nor matched with any identity information in the system through fingerprints taken. This number corresponds to 7% of the total number of deceased.”
